THE CAZARES CHATEAU
If it was up to me, all my bulldogs will be inside our home all day long, however, with multiple females and males with different temperament, things can get out of control pretty quick, causing injuries within them and to ourselves. Specially when females are in heat, it can get rough to manage them, sometimes I feel like I’m in high school all over again. It is in the best interest of my bulldogs to provide them a safe, clean and spacious area, where they have indoor and outdoor access, with all this in mind, my husband and I decided to buy a portable building and design it to make it our Bulldog Chateau, where they will have plenty of space to move around indoors and access to an outdoor covered run which will also lead to an outdoor play ground.
Our building measurements are 16′ W x 40′ L x 8′ H, giving us a total square footage of 640 sq feet, featuring:
- 10 – 5×5 kennels with a doggie door with easy access to indoor/outdoor
- A shower/grooming area
- A photo area (puppies photoshoot)
- Storage cabinets to store all dog related items
- A mini split AC/Heating Unit (36,000 BTU’s)
- Multiple Ceiling Fans
- Lots of lighting sources, natural and LED’s
- Exhaust fans for humidity and ventilation control
- A small seating area
- Nanny Cams in each kennel, we can see from any mobile device 24/7
- Each kennel has our favorite Kuranda Beds
This building will not only be our Bulldogs Palace, it will be an extension of our home too, where we will spend lots of hours with our Adult Bulldogs, we will have everything we need there, TV with Netfilx, a device to play Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, fridge with plenty of chilled drinks and of course lots of snacks for both, us and our Bulldogs.
Our current Bulldog Room (our mud/laundry room) will now become our Puppy Nursery, this is where pregnant mommas will move to the last 2 weeks of pregnancy to be monitored 24 hours a day, in a much more relaxed space up until puppies are 6-7 weeks old to continue with our Badass Breeder Curriculum there.
